We’ve got two new settings that give you and your wedding planning team more control over how your timelines look and feel. Here’s what’s new.
Your Preferences Page is the go-to place for customizing your timelines. It’s here that you can choose how your timelines look — the fonts, sizing, gridlines, and time increments are all stored in this one location. This is where you’ll also find our two latest Timeline Genius upgrades.
Choose How Account Members Use Preferences
Preferences is a powerful place, and changes made here will affect all your timelines. Want to limit how your team members can alter your settings? Now you can.
If you have account members on your Timeline Genius account, you’ll now find a new option on your Preferences Page:”Account Members Can Edit Preferences: Yes/No.”
Here’s a video that shows this new feature in action:
New Wedding Timeline PDF Feature: Display a Custom Event Picture
Our custom cover image feature allowed you to display a custom photo or graphic for each event. These are typically photos of each couple, but some planners get creative with personalized graphics.
Now, you can include that event photo in PDFs of each event too (but only if you want to!).
In your Preferences Page, you’ll have the option to “Show Event Pic” in your checklists and timelines. Selecting “yes” will create a place in each PDF to display your custom image. This will include that event pic when anyone downloads the PDF, whether that’s the couple, the vendors, or your own team members.
This will appear in addition to your logo. You can see what the PDF looks like below:

Consistent Settings For All Wedding Planning Team Members
With our new preferences options, you have more control over how your team creates and edits wedding day timelines… and how they appear to everyone involved in the event.
